Mohamed has been a key member of Shahid Law Firm’s corporate practice since joining in 2010 and was promoted to Managing Associate in January 2024. Over the course of his career at the firm, Mohamed has successfully represented clients in establishing a wide range of legal entities in Egypt and provided ongoing support for corporate compliance. He has consistently ensured that clients are well-informed of legal changes, drafted and reviewed various corporate documents, and obtained necessary licenses. Mohamed has also organized board and shareholders’ meetings, handled corporate resolutions ratification, and facilitated communication with the relevant authorities. Mohamed’s experience spans corporate restructuring, mergers of reputable companies, and involvement in capital increase mandates. He is known for advising corporations on best practices regarding Egyptian laws and regulations and is also a certified professional patent attorney. His legal drafting expertise covers a broad range of agreements, including franchise, retail, loan, sale and purchase, lease, escrow, management, employment, and construction agreements.
In addition to daily legal advisory services on matters related to banking, building, capital markets, civil, commercial, corporate, tax, and labor law, Mohamed has advised several high-profile multinational corporations such as Acciona, Vegas Oil & Gas, Lilly, AstraZeneca, and GlaxoSmithKline on corporate and commercial compliance matters.
Mohamed holds an L.L.B. and an LL.M. in Commercial and International Investment Laws from Banha University, Egypt..
